Nissan Murano Wiper Blade Sizes (2003-2025)

Checking worn windshield blades and frames is easy and essential for driving safety. The rubber blade must be intact with no cracks, splits or breaks. Worn blades cause annoying noise as the rubber is not wiping the windshield correctly. If you see streaking in rain or snow, the blade is not fully contacting the windshield and it’s time for a replacement.

About the Nissan Murano

The Nissan Murano debuted in late 2002 for the 2003 model year as a bold entry into the growing mid-size crossover SUV market. Built on Nissan’s FF-L platform (shared with the Altima and Maxima), the first-generation Murano stood out with its distinctive coupe-like styling and continuously variable transmission (CVT).

Nissan redesigned the Murano for the 2009 model year, introducing the second generation with refined styling and improved interior quality. The automaker focused on comfort and refinement while maintaining the model’s sporty character. This generation competed directly with the Honda Pilot, Toyota Highlander, and Chevrolet Traverse.

The third-generation Murano arrived for the 2015 model year with even bolder design language featuring Nissan’s V-Motion grille and floating roof design. Engineers refined the CVT transmission and added more advanced safety features. Sales remained steady as families appreciated the balance of style, comfort, and practicality.

For the 2025 model year, Nissan launched the fourth-generation Murano with a complete redesign. It replaced the long-running V6 with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine and dropped the CVT in favor of a new automatic transmission. The latest model features sharper exterior styling, a more modern interior with upgraded technology, and enhanced safety systems. Competitors include the Toyota RAV4 / Highlander, Mazda CX-5, Kia Sorento, and Ford Edge.

Throughout its evolution, the Murano has maintained its position as a stylish alternative to more conventional two- and three-row SUVs. The current generation continues emphasizing comfort and refinement over maximum cargo capacity. Nissan’s focus on distinctive design has helped the Murano carve out a specific niche in the competitive crossover segment.
