Nissan Murano Wiper Blade Sizes (2003-2023

Checking worn windshield blades and frames is easy and essential for driving safety. The rubber blade must be intact with no cracks, splits or breaks. Worn blades cause annoying noise as the rubber is not wiping the windshield correctly. If you see streaking in rain or snow, the blade is not fully contacting the windshield and it’s time for a replacement.

Rain and snow season is a good time to replace your blades as your vision becomes obscured in foul weather. New wiper blades will mean an inexpensive upgrade for your family’s safety and the safety of others.

About the Nissan Murano

The Nissan’s Murano is a mid-size “crossover” SUV that blends elements of passenger vehicles and standard SUVs. The Murano was first manufactured for the 2003 model year and is still marketed in later renditions.

The innovative FF-L platform, that puts the wheels further out to the corners, makes the vehicle more stable and handling improves. The Murano’s solid SUV power drive continues to have options for front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.

In 2010 the Murano earned the “highest ratings” from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety; the same year, the Murano received a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s award for side-impact safety. By 2015 this Nissan won the 10 Best Interiors award from Ward’s Automotive.

First marketed in 2009, the second-generation Murano was released in three classes. The type S was the basic model, with a mid-grade type SL and a luxury type SL. The types S and SL were offered with standard FWD.

Second and third generations of Muranos inherited much from the original model. The latter two generations offered more options and trim changes; in 2016, a “hybrid” model came out with more significant changes.

The Nissan Murano competes in an open market and is comparable to the Chevrolet Equinox, Dodge Durango, Ford Edge, and Kia Sorento.
