When driving your Jeep Grand Cherokee in the city, you expect your windshield wipers to clean your windshield. As you take your SUV off-road on the trails, a clear windshield becomes even more important. While you wind your way around turns and over hills, you want no surprises.
Wipers wear out from use and the off-road materials that get thrown at them. You can help ensure safe adventures in your SUV by proactively replacing your front and rear wiper every six to nine months.
Matching wipers to your Grand Cherokee is not always easy. We created this helpful chart across all model years.

About the Jeep Grand Cherokee
The Jeep Grand Cherokee made its debut in Detroit at the North American International Auto Show in 1992. The Grand Cherokee was one of the SUVs that helped mainstream this class of vehicles. Throughout the model years, the Grand Cherokee has seen small but numerous updates to the styling and interior design.
One of the most significant updates was for the 1999 model year. Changes that buyers noticed were the upscale interior and a new V8 engine. One of the major advancements was in the powertrain. It had a unique automatic transmission that allowed for better handling.
In 2021, Jeep answered a need and introduced a longer wheelbase and an optional third row seat. This allowed the Grand Cherokee to transport up to seven people in comfort. Modern Grand Cherokees have clean lines and are fully capable for long weekend trips with family and friends. Owners enjoy the heritage of a Jeep and are ready for on and off-road adventures.
The new Jeep Grand Cherokee is loaded with features that make it highly capable. The traction control system lets owners choose the mode that matches the road from auto, sport, rock, snow or mud/sand. A quadra-lift lets drivers raise the vehicle to avoid off-road hazards. There are multiple 4 x 4 systems so buyers can select the system that will perform best in their chosen driving conditions.
Other vehicles in this popular selling class include the Dodge Durango, Kia Telluride, Ford Explorer, Toyota 4Runner, and the Subaru Ascent.
