About the Chrysler 300

The history of the Chrysler 300 dates back to the original 300 which debuted in 1955. It was considered one of the fastest cars on the road. Through 1965, this generation became known as the letter series as each model year, Chrysler added a sequential letter to end at the Chrysler 300L. The current version of the Chrysler 300 proudly hit the road in 2005.

Drivers have enjoyed this full-size luxury sedan for years. This touring vehicle allows owners to match driving conditions with rear wheel or all-wheel drive options available.

The Chrysler 300 does not leave many voids for its owners. The car is extremely responsive with a powerful V8 or V6 engine. The 300 can adjust to road conditions by increasing traction to keep drivers in control. Chrysler pulls out all the stops for the 300. Drivers enjoy the sophisticated exterior design, a large trunk, high end seating materials and one of the largest multimedia screens in the class.

Although limited to 1,000 pounds of towing capacity, owners can put a hitch on the 300 and tow a trailer on longer trips. One of the things owners and their passengers have come to appreciate is the extra generous legroom in the rear seats.

Everyone rides in comfort and convenience with multi-zone temperature control, rear reading lights, illuminated beverage holders and power ports for everyone. The Chrysler 300 is loaded with advanced safety features.

Competitors in the class include the Lexus ES, Nissan Maxima, Toyota Avalon, Volvo S90 and the Genesis G80.
