The BMW X6 turns heads for the right reasons (like its bold profile) — unless it’s because your old wipers start squeaking and chattering across your windshield at the first sign of rain. Nothing undermines the presence of your performance crossover faster than the embarrassing screech of worn blades struggling against glass.
Don’t lessen your driving experience or safety. Our X6 wiper blade sizing chart eliminates confusion by providing exact specifications for every model year. We’ve also gathered insider info from BMW enthusiasts on which wiper blade brand is most often recommended.

About the BMW X6
The BMW X6 created an entirely new vehicle category when it launched in 2008. BMW labeled this distinctive blend of SUV utility and coupe styling a “Sports Activity Coupe.” The first-generation E71 X6 shocked the automotive world with its dramatically sloping roofline and muscular stance.
Power came from a range of potent engines, including six-cylinder and V8 options, plus the high-performance X6 M variant with its twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8.
BMW introduced the second-generation F16 X6 in 2014 with refined styling and improved technology. The controversial design had proven successful, prompting other manufacturers to follow BMW’s lead.
The X6 received BMW’s latest iDrive system, enhanced safety features, and more powerful yet fuel-efficient engines. The third generation G06 X6 arrived in 2019 with an even more commanding presence thanks to its massive kidney grille and sharper body lines.
Shoppers drawn to the X6 might have considered the Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe, Porsche Cayenne Coupe, and Audi Q8. The Range Rover Sport represented another premium alternative. The X6 stood out with its driver-focused dynamics and bold styling statement.
The interior blended luxury with sporting intent. High-quality materials covered nearly every surface, from soft leather to genuine metal accents. Despite the sloping roofline, the cabin provided comfortable seating for four adults. Technology remained cutting-edge throughout all generations, with the latest driver assistance systems and connectivity options.
BMW continues to refine the X6, maintaining its position as the original coupe-SUV that dared to challenge conventional automotive categories.
